Subscription Administrators within IBM Planning Analytics can be managed through the IBM MyIBM portal
Removing Subscription Administrator Access #
- Navigate to: https://myibm.ibm.com
- Select your organisation and click Manage
- In the left-hand menu, select Manage Users
- Open the Subscription Administrators tab
From here, you have two options depending on the outcome required.
Remove the Subscription Administrator Role Only #
If you want to keep the user active within Planning Analytics, but remove their Subscription Administrator permissions:
- Select the user
- Untick the Subscription Administrator option
- Click Save
The user will still retain access to Planning Analytics, but they will no longer be able to manage subscriptions or users.
Remove the User Completely #
If the user no longer requires access to Planning Analytics:
- Select the user
- Click Remove User
- Save the changes
This removes both their access and their Subscription Administrator permissions.

Removing a User Licence #
To fully remove a user licence:
- Navigate to: https://myibm.ibm.com
- Select your organisation and click
- Select Manage Users
- Open either:
- the Subscription Administrators tab
- or the Licensed Users tab
- Select the user you want to remove
- Remove the required roles by unticking:
- Subscription Administrator
- Licensed Users
- Click Save
