How to: Remove a Subscription Administrator

Subscription Administrators within IBM Planning Analytics can be managed through the IBM MyIBM portal

Removing Subscription Administrator Access #

1. Navigate to: https://myibm.ibm.com
2. Select your organisation and click Manage
3. In the left-hand menu, select Manage Users
4. Open the Subscription Administrators tab

From here, you have two options depending on the outcome required.

Remove the Subscription Administrator Role Only #

If you want to keep the user active within Planning Analytics, but remove their Subscription Administrator permissions:

1. Select the user
2. Untick the Subscription Administrator option
3. Click Save

The user will still retain access to Planning Analytics, but they will no longer be able to manage subscriptions or users.

Remove the User Completely #

If the user no longer requires access to Planning Analytics:

1. Select the user
2. Click Remove User
3. Save the changes

This removes both their access and their Subscription Administrator permissions.

Removing a User Licence #

To fully remove a user licence:

1. Navigate to: https://myibm.ibm.com
2. Select your organisation and click
3. Select Manage Users
4. Open either:
   • the Subscription Administrators tab
   • or the Licensed Users tab
5. Select the user you want to remove
6. Remove the required roles by unticking:
   • Subscription Administrator
   • Licensed Users
7. Click Save

Regularly reviewing user access and administrator permissions helps keep your Planning Analytics system secure, and aligned with your purchased licences.
