What is a Security Bulletin? #
From time to time, IBM identifies vulnerabilities in its software. When that happens, they issue a Security Bulletin. These bulletins explain:
-
A summary of the issue and how severe it is
-
Which product (and version) is affected
-
The fix or recommended action
At Aramar, we always recommend upgrading to the latest version if a vulnerability is released. That said, every organisation should review bulletins in line with its own IT policies.
👉 Here’s an example of a Security Bulletin for Planning Analytics Local.
Why it’s worth subscribing #
