  • Easier task tracking and approvals: Review task history and manage submissions from a central action log, without opening individual user groups. Approval emails now take approvers directly to the approval screen.
  • More data source connections: Connect to additional sources, including Amazon Redshift, Box, Dropbox and Google Cloud Storage, giving teams more options for bringing external data into Planning Analytics. Available in Planning Analytics as a Service and Planning Analytics Advanced Certified Containers.
  • Simpler AI model configuration: Configure Amazon Bedrock directly from Planning Analytics Administration, making it easier to switch between Bedrock and watsonx.ai without manually editing configuration files.
  • More automated database management: Use new REST API options to manage TM1 databases without opening the user interface, helping automate routine administration. Database creation, deletion and backup management are available for TM1 12 databases only.
  • Clearer AI analysis reports: Exploration analysis reports now include seven structured sections, improved charts and documentation links, making trends, relationships and anomalies easier to interpret and share.
  • More flexible forecasting: A new Extended forecasting engine supports more complex patterns, including multiple seasonal cycles and high-frequency daily forecasting. Select algorithms automatically or manually for both on-demand and baseline forecasts.

  • Faster variance analysis: AI-generated insights highlight the key differences between plan and actuals, reducing manual analysis time.

  • Faster schedule updates: Update start times for multiple chores at once in the modelling area, making routine admin changes quicker and less repetitive.

  • Simpler Excel configuration: Configure Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel directly from Planning Analytics Administration, removing the need to manually edit configuration files.

  • Easier AI assistant setup: Manage your custom watsonx Orchestrate connection directly from Planning Analytics Administration, simplifying configuration and ongoing maintenance.
