The following object security features have been added:
Object filter by Workflow Access
This feature filters report objects based on the user’s workflow visibility permission. Depending on permissions, a particular user might or might not see certain report objects in the report object tree. This functionality provides an additional layer of security to ensure that users without relevant permissions cannot see or modify the underlying report object content.
This feature enables users to progress to a particular state in a workflow, depending on a workflow rule. If the rule is evaluated as false, which is represented by the numeric digit of 0, the user can move the report object to the next workflow state. Otherwise, the report object stays in its current workflow state.
This feature enables users to see the resolved values of ##D and ##GD variables quickly, without having to generate a report. For users to see the resolved values of such variables, the report object that contains the variables must be checked in.
This feature allows users to write back data to an OLAP source such as Cognos® TM1® or Essbase. With the presence of this feature, all offline schedules and data can be centralized into a repository for quick access and reporting.
Cognos TM1 integration
The following Cognos TM1 integration features have been added:
This feature enables users to create queries based on existing predefined views within Cognos TM1.
CAM User Authentication
This functionality enables the credentials of users who are logged in to be passed to Cognos TM1 for authentication. The results of queries are retrieved based on the supplied credentials.
Migration from Cognos Financial Statement Reporting, version 6.6.1
This standalone migration utility enables existing customers of Cognos Financial Statement Reporting (FSR) to migrate their existing reports and report object information to Cognos Disclosure Management. For more information about the scope of this utility, see Migrating from IBM Cognos FSR 6 to IBM Cognos Disclosure Management 10.2.1.

The XBRL and EDGAR HTML functionality has been incorporated into the installer to provide a seamless experience. The installer requires a valid license key to install XBRL or EDGAR HTML functionality.
Expiration policies have been enhanced for data sourcing to provide a seamless experience when users create or modify policies.
Open report object from email notification
This feature enables users to open report objects by clicking a link in an external tool such as an email message. If Cognos Disclosure Management is installed on the user’s computer, the user can open the application and the relevant report object by simply clicking the link.
IBM® Cognos® Disclosure Management XBRL is a unified financial governance solution that focuses on improving financial processes and controls, particularly in the final stages before disclosure. IBM® Cognos® Disclosure Management Extension Taxonomy Editor is a tool for creating and editing XBRL extension taxonomies. It allows users to quickly create, visualize, and validate XBRL data. Users can work with XBRL data as it is being created and easily collaborate with other users in the creation of an XBRL disclosure.
Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) HTML is a format editor that helps users convert Word and Excel objects to HTML. Due to limitations of HTML, the format of converted HTML files might not exactly match the format of Excel or Word objects. Users can use the EDGAR HTML feature to preview and edit the appearance of their report after conversion to HTML.
