Aramar Customer Forum Success!
Last week we hosted our annual Aramar Customer Forum and what a day it was. Even with the trains doing their best to throw us off schedule, nothing stopped us from welcoming so many of our amazing customers to IBM’s York Road offices for a day filled with insights, conversations, and (of course) great food.
The morning kicked off with our wonderful Customer Success Managers, Bronyck and Angeline, whose humour and energy set the perfect tone for the day. From there, Rob, our Commercial Director, took us through what’s new at Aramar – including our refreshed YouTube channel, the growing buzz on LinkedIn, and the launch of three brand-new Cognos Analytics courses *coming soon*
We then turned to the bigger picture, with Neil Dutton Ward from IDC sharing his insights on AI and its business impact. One line that really stuck with us was: “Unprecedented trends require unprecedented responses.” His message was clear, trusted data and automation will be the key to turning risk into opportunity.
IBM’s Máté Kiss followed with a look at what’s next for Planning Analytics (PA). His update confirmed IBM’s commitment to PA and introduced something very exciting – generative AI functions that will let you chat with your data in natural language.
From there, our own Sasha Maybury brought watson BI to life, showing how it can deliver real value for business intelligence. After a well-earned lunch, Angeline returned with a playful quiz that had the whole room smiling (and a few lucky winners leaving with prizes 🏆).
The afternoon sessions built on that energy. Sasha came back to the stage to show how Envizi and Planning Analytics can work together to strengthen sustainability reporting. Paul Allen then took us through the Controller roadmap in his engaging style, reassuring everyone that Controller is very much here to stay.
And finally, we closed on a high with IBM’s Louis Regan, who looked ahead to the future of finance and the role automation and AI will play in reshaping it.
It was a packed agenda, but one that left us feeling inspired and energised about the opportunities ahead.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in person and to those who shared their feedback afterwards. You help us shape the forum into something that grows in value year after year.
If you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry, plans are already underway to make it even bigger, better, and more engaging in 2026. We can’t wait to welcome you back!
