#AramarCustomerForum2025
by Bronyck Stokes Horrigan
In just a few weeks, on the 17th September, we will be hosting our 3rd annual IBM Analytics Forum for our customers, at the IBM Innovation Studio London. It’s an event we have been planning all year! And as we get closer I’m excited to tell you a bit more about what to expect on the day.
We’ve organised something a bit different this year, as this event will see our first non-IBM, software agnostic speaker.
Neil Ward Dutton will be joining us from the IDC (International Data Corporation).
The IDC is a global market intelligence firm, widely recognised as a trusted source for IT, B2B and Consumer Tech trends. Their aim is to help businesses, vendors and governments make better decisions by providing research reports, market forecasts and vendor assessments to help understand customer needs, market shifts, and to help validate business and strategy decisions with data and research.
Neil Ward Dutton is IDC Europe’s Vice President for AI, Automation and Data & Analytics. With nearly 30 years experience as a technology industry analyst, Neil has authored hundreds of IDC reports, and speaks widely on topics such as automation, generative AI, low-code development and process automation. The Aramar team were present at an IBM event where Neil’s talk on AI and the challenges and opportunities for businesses inspired them to invite him to talk with our customers.
There will also be short talks from Sasha Maybury, Business Analytics Specialist at Aramar and Louis Regan, Senior Data, Planning and AI Specialist at IBM, covering IBM’s new intelligent watsonx BI agent, as well as opportunities for generative and AI in Finance.
As always, customers can expect to see the latest on the IBM Planning Analytics and Controller Roadmaps. Our customers find these sessions help them understand the longer-term direction of the products and where IBM are focussing their efforts. Both Mate Kiss, Data & AI Tech Sales Leader at IBM, and Paul Allen, Controller Product Manager, will be available during the event for any product or roadmap related questions.
Rob Howell, our own Commercial Director, will be sharing a business update on our strategy and areas of focus for the coming years.
Last but certainly not least, Angeline Singh, Customer Success Manager at Aramar, will be returning with her ‘House of Games’ session for the event, where there will be a chance to win some prizes!
The merchandise this year is even better and, any previous attendees will be delighted to hear, that the wonderful baking by Lady Bakewell Park will be returning to our goodie bags. Her biscuits were so popular last year that we noticed several had disappeared from our left over merchandise bags, a mystery indeed!
We’re all very excited for the day and can’t wait to see you all there.
Here’s a little teaser of our lovely Sasha from 2024.
